In 2011/2012 stress was attributed to 40% of all work related illness. This stress is defined as “a harmful reaction that people have to undue pressures and demands placed on them at work”. Being able to reduce stress and to recognise stressed employees is critical to ensuring the wellbeing of your workforce and maintaining a happy and productive business.
At CIPHR we are always improving our solutions and services. One such improvement is that being made to our company website and blog. In today’s image, Dan from our Marketing department is working on the new look and feel website which we will be releasing in early 2012.
Today we have a photo of Johnny, a CIPHR Service Delivery Analyst, and his new bike. Last year a team of 4 from CIPHR took part in the London To Brighton night bike ride to raise money for The British Heart Foundation. In total we raised over £500, which included an anonymous donation of £100! We will hopefully be repeating the challenging 60 mile ride this year to raise more money for a great cause.
Klout is described (by Wikipedia) as “ a San Francisco-based company that provides social media analytics to measure a user’s influence across his or her social network. The analysis is done on data taken from sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, and measures the size of a person’s network, the content created, and purports to measure how other people interact with that content.”. There is a split between those people that believe that the Klout score is a significant factor in your influence generally, and those that believe the Klout score is irrelevant.
Today’s photo is of Marlow weir which is very close to our offices.
Whether visiting CIPHR to attend one of our training courses, discuss your account or any other reason, you will be well looked after. You can even enjoy a sweet whilst signing in!
